Ingredients
-
Cooking spray
-
All-purpose flour (for dusting)
-
1 (8-oz.) tube crescent dough
-
2 tbsp. SideDish Honey Dijon, plus more for serving
-
1/2 lb. deli-sliced ham
-
8 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
-
4 tbsp. salted butter, melted
-
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
-
1 tsp. poppy seeds
-
Fresh parsley, finely chopped for serving
Method
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease an 8" x 8" baking pan with cooking spray.
Prepare Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent dough.
Separate it into 4 rectangles (each containing 2 triangles.)
Pinch the perforations to seal, forming solid rectangles.
Assemble Pinwheels:
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of SideDish Honey Dijon evenly across each rectangle.
Layer with ham and Swiss cheese, ensuring even coverage.
Roll and Slice:
Starting from the short side of each rectangle, roll tightly into a log. Pinch the edges to seal.
Slice each log into 4 to 5 equal pieces and arrange the pinwheels cut-side up in the prepared pan.
Make Butter Topping:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and poppy seeds
Drizzle the mixture evenly over the tops of the pinwheels.
Bake and Serve:
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for 5 minutes. Finish with one last drizzle of SideDish Honey Dijon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley, for garnish. Enjoy!
