Ham and Swiss Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray

  • All-purpose flour (for dusting)

  • 1 (8-oz.) tube crescent dough

  • 2 tbsp. SideDish Honey Dijon, plus more for serving

  • 1/2 lb. deli-sliced ham

  • 8 oz. sliced Swiss cheese

  • 4 tbsp. salted butter, melted

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. poppy seeds

  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped for serving

    1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF.

    2. Lightly grease an 8" x 8" baking pan with cooking spray.

    1. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent dough. 

    2. Separate it into 4 rectangles (each containing 2 triangles.)

    3. Pinch the perforations to seal, forming solid rectangles.

    1. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of SideDish Honey Dijon evenly across each rectangle.

    2. Layer with ham and Swiss cheese, ensuring even coverage.

    1. Starting from the short side of each rectangle, roll tightly into a log. Pinch the edges to seal.

    2. Slice each log into 4 to 5 equal pieces and arrange the pinwheels cut-side up in the prepared pan.

    1. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and poppy seeds

    2. Drizzle the mixture evenly over the tops of the pinwheels.

    1. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and cooked through.

    2. Let cool for 5 minutes. Finish with one last drizzle of SideDish Honey Dijon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley, for garnish. Enjoy!
