Ingredients
-
1 sheet puff pastry dough, thawed but still chilled
-
¾ cup marinara
-
â…“ cup whole milk ricotta cheese
-
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
-
12 pepperoni slices, cut into smaller pieces
-
SideDish Ranch, for dipping
Method
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with nonstick cooking spray.
Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to slightly enlarge the sheet.
Cut it into 12 equal squares.
Line the Muffin Tin:
Gently press each puff pastry square into the muffin tin cups, letting the edges stick out slightly.
Assemble the Pizza Bites:
Add about 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce into each pastry cup.
Spoon a small dollop (around 1 teaspoon) of ricotta cheese on top of the marinara.
Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese over the ricotta and marinara layers.
Add the pepperoni pieces, distributing evenly across the cups.
Bake:
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the pizza bites to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then carefully remove them (Use a butter knife to gently run around the edges of each pastry cup to loosen any melted cheese or sauce that may have stuck to the pan).
Serve warm with SideDish Classic Ranch for dipping. Enjoy!
