Ingredients

    blank

    • 1 lb ground turkey

    • 2 tablespoon SideDish Southwest

    • 1 small jalapeรฑo, seeds/stem removed and finely diced

    • ยผ cup finely diced red onionย
    • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

    • ยฝ teaspoon pepper

    • 2 tablespoons avocado oil, for cooking

    • Sliced pepper jack cheese (omit for dairy-free)

    • 1 avocado, thinly sliced

    blank

    • 2 tablespoons mayo

    • 2 tablespoons SideDish Southwest

    blank

    • Sesame seed bun (sub gluten-free bun or serve in lettuce wrap for grain-free)

    • Shredded lettuce

    • Sliced tomato

    Method

    1. In a medium bowl, mix together the Turkey, SideDish Southwest, jalapeรฑo, red onion, salt and pepper until just combined. Form into 4-equal-sized patties.

    2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, carefully place the patties into the oil and cook until golden brown on each side and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.
    3. Turn off the heat and place 2 to 3 slices of avocado on top of each patty. Then place a slice of pepper jack cheese over the sliced avocado. Cover the skillet to allow the cheese to just melt, about 3 to 4 more minutes.

    4. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato and a spread of the creamy southwest! Alternatively, these patties are delicious served on top of a salad, or wrapped with lettuce leaves!
